This is Mrs. Milford's second year at Sunrise Elementary School. She started here last year and loved working with the students and teachers here so much that she decided to come back this year.

Mrs. Milford is a graduate of Soutwestern College, in Phoenix, Arizona with a bachelor's of science in music education. However that was not even close to the beginning of her musical career. Mrs. Milford gave her first concert at the age of two and started her formal music training at the age of three (her mom was her first piano teacher). She always practiced really hard (couldn't help it really, not since she lived with her music teacher). At the age of 10 she started playing the flute and added the clarinet at the age of 12. From there she started adding new instruments like crazy! Mrs. Milford continues to play her flute with a community band here in town as well as performing in other groups in the Phoenix area.
